I visited Porini Mara Camp for three nights and had a great time. This was my first visit to Kenya and I booked it through Gamewatchers, which made things extremely easy, especially for a solo traveler. The camp was cute and comfy, the food was good and plentiful, the wine pours were huge, the staff were helpful and friendly - even doing a special birthday celebration with singing and dancing for one of the guests.

Incredible spot for wildlife
Fantastic two night stay at Porini Mara. The staff are lovely and. The guides in particular are real experts. The location within is private conservancy makes for a superb experience, particularly when compared to the main Mara reserve which is heaving with vehicles. We had a private sighting of 8 lionesses, a huge herd of elephants and countless other animals, as well as fantastic cheetah and leopard sightings in the neighbouring conservancy.
