Visit Porini Cheetah Camp
Porini Cheetah Camp opened in June 2017 and like all the other Porini Camps, the camp is a small-tented camp designed to maximize your wildlife experience. It is hosted by Jui and Nirmalya Banerjee who are avid wildlife enthusiasts themselves. The Porini Cheetah Camp is unfenced and located inside Ol Kinyei Conservancy, far from the usual safari crowds. It has just six spacious guest tents. The camp offers Wifi Internet in the public areas .
The camp is entirely solar-powered and the comfortable tents have fans and charging points for use in the day. Also ensuite bathrooms with hot shower, flush toilet and water on tap. The chef uses fresh ingredients to prepare high quality meals and even home-baked bread. Indian cuisine is available on request. The camp welcomes children aged 8 years and over (see Prices Information for more details).
For guests staying at Porini Cheetah Camp, we can arrange to book return flights from Nairobi to the nearby Naboisho Ol Seki airstrip using the daily scheduled services of Safarilink, one of Kenya’s leading safari airlines, at the applicable air fares.
Location
The Ol Kinyei Conservancy, where the camp is located, is exclusive to Porini Camps, which makes for an extraordinarily intimate wildlife experience, with very few other cars sharing your sightings. The Ol Kinyei Conservancy is a recognized hotspot for the big cats and especially cheetahs, which are seen regularly, often with cubs. It is also home to large herds of elephants, apart from the plains game for which the Maasai Mara eco-system is justly famous. Safari drives can also be taken in the nearby Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy.
The Porini Cheetah Camp is located close to the Olare Lemunyi watercourse, between the White Rock feature on the one hand and a marsh fed by a permanent underground spring that is a magnet for the antelopes and zebras, especially in the dry season. The White Rock is an excellent location for sun downers because of the view from the top.

This camp is located in the Ol kinyei conservancy part of the Maasai Mara Lovely camp, lovely staff Jackson & Edward a great spotter/ driver team.
