Zimbabwe is a year-round travel destination and offers something different throughout the seasons. There is one main rainy season which happens from December – April, however it can start as early as November. The green season April – May are when the rains have finished but the landscape is still lush and green. June – October are the dryer months, when safari viewing can be at it’s best but the temperatures are hotter before the rains begin again.
One thing to bear in mind with travelling to Zimbabwe is if you are planning to include Victoria Falls in your itinerary then you will most likely want to visit just after the rains, otherwise you may be disappointed. To discuss the best time then do speak to one of our dedicated travel consultants, especially if you are looking to combine Victoria Falls with a Safari, as the travel window can be quite small in order to get the best from both.
